An adventure tale pitting man against nature. The Vengeferth pirates meet a great white shark, then they're capsized by a rogue wave. Seven crewmen escape the overturned ship to spend months a’ sea in a smallboat. During that time they share stories from their lives. They encounter the Crazy Cousin, a foundering ship with a broken pump and a belly ful
l of water. And she has more problems.
My Thoughts:
I love its detail, the accent. It brings it to life. I have been reading it with a ten year old and a four year old and it had kept their attention. Its a great clean book for kids, I will admit that i had to finish the book before the kids because I enjoyed it. This is not like other kids books where they lack detail, this is the unusual rarity of a detailed kids book it has a charm to it. Overall its a great story to read to kids, its awesome if your an adult who loves GOOD kids books.
