Genre: Young Adult, Fiction, Paranormal, Romance
Summary By the Author:
Forget everything you know about angels… You’ll likely find Alyxandria slicing demons with her blades rather than plucking at harp strings. Whether it's with weapons, unarmed or with the “borrowed magics” of distilled angel-blood tattoos, she trains harder than any other Seraphim warrior to prove she is nothing like her parents who abandoned her to become Rogues. After a series of confusing visions, Alyx saves Israel, a mysterious mortal who knows too much. She has been chosen as his Guardian. There’s just one problem. She is forbidden to even see him again. An Elders’ dark plan, a keye to unlock Hell, and a prophecy that warns of the greatest war this Earth will ever know… It begins in Angelfire.
My Thoughts:
This book has a slow start but once you get through the beginning you wont want to put it down. The two main character's love life and them falling in love is very predictable although there are plenty of surprises and turns to make it interesting, This is more for late teens than young teens. For a slow start and predictable romance it is a very well written book and you'll be buying one after the other once you get into it.
People who read are always the most interesting. What they read, why they read and especially which books they read by who. The genres and the words and the intricacies of the sentences on the page. Its always a pleasure to go back to that old friend, the newest journey ahead. Words of all who think and feel, become and dream.
