The Irish Cottage By Juliet Gauvin

Summary By Goodreads:
A story about losing your way and finding your life. Book 1 of 3.
Elizabeth Lara built a perfect life as San Francisco’s top divorce attorney, but when she loses her great-aunt Mags, the woman who raised her, she boards a plane and leaves it all behind.

The Irish shores welcome her as she learns a shocking truth, kept secret for thirty-five years. Devastated and now alone in the world, Beth tries to find peace in a beautiful cottage by Lough Rhiannon, but peace isn’t what fate had in mind. Almost as soon as she arrives, Beth’s solitary retreat into the magic wilds of Ireland is interrupted by Connor Bannon. A man with light brown hair, ice blue eyes and a secret of his own. He’s gorgeous, grieving, and completely unexpected.

With the help of Mags’ letters, the colorful townspeople of Dingle, and Connor, Elizabeth might just find a way back to the girl she lost long ago and become the woman she always wanted to be.

My Thoughts:
This book is adventurous and a perfect love story as well as a finding your way story, the characters were intense in a way i have never seen before, which made it all the better. This did have a couple of unexpected twists as well as predictability. It had culture with a mix of reality and your going to hate the word eejit until you realize what it means, i am honestly head over heels for The Irish Cottage, I would definitely recommend this book to the female workaholics in my life just because, it really shows you that sometimes you have to remember to have fun and not work so much, to enjoy your family and a perfect direct quote from The Irish Cottage "You are too goddamned uptight! For fuck’s sake, have a drink. Let your hair down. Open yourself up to new people and experiences"
Which i am happy to add is the main theme of the story which you will love.

Note: This is a book that is for 18 and up not very appropriate for anyone under that, there are multiple highly steamy scenes and i would not suggest this book to anyone who is not of age.
